Not every workday ends with muddy shoes, sore muscles, and a visible impact on one of Atlanta's most beloved public spaces.
Today, Equifax's Security Team spent the day caring for multiple areas of Piedmont Park—from tending the tree canopy northwest of the Active Oval to clearing leaves and branches near the 14th Street entrance and new Vietnam War Memorial site.
Thank you to Equifax, one of our returning Corporate Volunteer Partners, for dedicating your time, energy, and teamwork to the Park. We loved having you with us.

Behind every trail, garden bed, gathering space, and summer bloom in Piedmont Park is the daily work of the Conservancy’s Operations team. 🌿
In May alone, crews spread 32 tons of mulch, planted hundreds of thousands of native seeds, restored irrigation flow to Lake Clara Meer, and prepared the Piedmont Park Pool for summer—all while working alongside volunteers to care for landscapes across the Park.
This behind-the-scenes stewardship reflects Piedmont Park Conservancy’s mission in action: preserving and enhancing Atlanta’s iconic green space for everyone who visits, gathers, and connects here.

Returning for a second year—and with an even larger team—Voya Financial spent the day helping care for the Charles Allen Drive corridor through hands-on stewardship and maintenance efforts.
As one of our Corporate Volunteer Partners, Voya volunteers cleared leaves and fallen branches while spreading more than 10,000 pounds of mulch throughout the area, helping refresh one of the Park’s most traveled edges heading into the summer season.

Service has long been part of Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club’s connection to Piedmont Park.
As part of their 70th Anniversary celebration, members of The M.A.R.C. joined our Saturday Park Stewardship efforts—removing invasive species, clearing fallen branches and leaves, and adding fresh mulch to the 10th Street entrance.
Their history in the Park stretches back years, from annual volunteer projects to trees planted throughout the landscape and the Rock Reading Circle at the 12th Street gate. We’re grateful for their continued care for this shared space.

Earlier this week, visitors joined us for a special Connect & Learn about bluebirds. The evening centered on one of conservation’s great comeback stories and the role local stewardship continues to play in it. 💙
Led by Leslie Renjilian, who helped install 11 new bluebird boxes throughout Piedmont Park this spring, the program explored the habits, habitats, and ongoing monitoring efforts that help support Eastern bluebirds across Atlanta. Through stories, photos, and nest camera footage, participants gained a closer look at the impact citizen scientists can have on local wildlife conservation.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a thoughtful and inspiring evening in the Park. Explore more upcoming programs and events through the link in our below.

Fresh pine straw, cleared pathways, and refreshed green spaces around Magnolia Hall and Greystone made a noticeable difference across these well-loved areas of the Park—just in time for late spring and summer celebrations.
Thank you to Inspire Brands, one of our Corporate Volunteer Partners, for spending the day caring for these spaces by removing fallen branches and overgrown vegetation, pulling weeds, and laying more than 200 bushels of pine straw throughout the surrounding landscape areas.
Their efforts help ensure these gathering spaces feel beautiful, welcoming, and ready for the many weddings and special moments still to come this season.

Picture this: a celebration beneath the trees of Piedmont Park — thoughtful, personal, and unfolding from day into night.
As the evening sets in, the energy shifts — a wardrobe change, a packed dance floor, and a live band carrying the celebration late into the evening.
Weddings in the Park are more than a single moment — they’re a collection of experiences, shaped by each couple and brought to life with care. We would be honored to be part of your day.

Led by Heather Baker of Paper & Penny, the evening brought together creativity, conversation, and hands-on making in the Park. We loved seeing each design come to life.

There’s a specific kind of magic that happens when neighbors gather in the Community Garden. 🌿
Last week, we spent an evening among the garden beds for Garden Mixology, tasting cocktails inspired by in-season Georgia produce. It was all about fresh ingredients, great flavor combinations, and enjoying the Park from a different perspective.
If you missed this one, we'd love to see you at our next session on May 28.
