You’d think History Day would be enough excitement for one day… but not at AMS!

Today, we ALSO kicked off our first House Cup Minute to Win It Challenge during all three lunches!

The challenge? “A Sticky Situation!” Students had just 60 seconds to bounce ping pong balls into a plate full of marshmallow fluff! Let's just say things got a little sticky, and the laughs were nonstop!

After an AMAZING week filled with learning, laughter, school spirit, and unforgettable memories, we think it's safe to say that everyone at AMS is ready for that extra hour of sleep this weekend! 💙🚀

Our annual History Day was a HUGE success! Our halls were filled with famous faces from the past as history came to life right before our eyes!

From legendary leaders to iconic figures, our staff did an amazing job bringing a little piece of history to AMS!

Now for the million dollar question… CAN YOU GUESS WHO'S WHO?! Drop your guesses in the comments! 💙🚀

Happy National Principals Month to the one, the only, the LEGENDARY Mr. Carlson! The NJHS students surprised him by decorating his office this morning!

They say behind every great school is a great principal… and at Auburn Middle School, we hit the absolute JACKPOT!

From his incredible leadership and endless dedication to his ability to juggle approximately 847 things at once (all while making it look effortless), Mr. Carlson truly is THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Whether he's cheering on our students, supporting our staff, showing up for every event, or keeping the AMS ship sailing smoothly, Mr. Carlson leads with heart, humor, and an unwavering commitment to making our school the greatest place to be!

Some schools have principals. We have MR. CARLSON....And really, is there even a competition?!

Thank you, Mr. Carlson, for everything you do to make AMS such an amazing place to learn, work, and grow. We're incredibly lucky to have you leading our Rocket family!

Happy Principals Month to the GOAT!💙🚀

Yesterday marked our Field Hockey team's final home game of the season, and what a way to go out! Our Rockets took on Shepherd Hill and came away with an impressive 7-0 VICTORY!

To make the day even more special, we celebrated our amazing 8th graders as they took the field at home for the final time! Of course, we had to capture some memories with a few pictures!

A special shoutout to our team captains, Maddie Lerner and McKenna Johnson, for their leadership throughout the season!

Way to go, Rockets! We are so proud of you! 💙🚀

Senora Colon's classes have been Celebrating Hispanic Culture Through Creativity! The students have been working on their “La Gozadera” Smash Doodle Project, inspired by the song by Gente de Zona. Through drawings, Spanish vocabulary, and cultural symbols, students are exploring the richness, diversity, and joy of Hispanic culture.
¡Aprender español es también celebrar nuestra cultura! 💙🚀

Last night, some of our amazing AMS students spoke at the School Committee meeting about the importance of composting and how small changes can make a BIG difference for our planet!

Thanks to the leadership and dedication of Ms. Clough and the important lessons on Composting from our Science teachers, AMS is working hard to make composting part of our daily routine by composting materials from our school lunches!

We are so proud of our student for using their voice to advocate for a greener future!💙🚀

Our 7th grade Comets got a behind the scenes look at the fascinating world of forensics thanks to Auburn MA Police Department l.

From crime scenes to collecting clues, students got a glimpse into how science and detective work come together to solve mysteries!

A HUGE thank you to the APD for taking the time to share their knowledge and bringing some real world excitement into our classrooms! 💙🚀

A little tea and some great conversation! These young men enjoyed spending some quality time with our Assistant Principal, Ms. Clough! What a wonderful opportunity to connect, share some smiles, and build relationships outside the classroom!💙🚀
