💚 Cayuga County Supports Operation Green Light for Veterans 💚

The Cayuga County Legislature has proclaimed November 2026 as Operation Green Light for Veterans, honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans and the men and women in uniform transitioning from active service.

Throughout November, Cayuga County will illuminate the County Office Building in green and distribute green light bulbs to encourage community participation.

We invite residents, businesses, and organizations throughout Cayuga County to join us by displaying a green light in a window or outdoor fixture as a visible show of support for our veterans. 💚

Together, we can show our veterans that they are seen, appreciated, and supported, while encouraging those who may need assistance to reach out to the Cayuga County Veterans Service Agency.

Let's light up Cayuga County green this November! 💚🇺🇸

💗 REMINDER: Mobile Mammography Van Here Today! 💗

UR Medicine’s Mobile Mammography Van is in Auburn TODAY, parked in the Cayuga County Office Building parking lot!

Appointments are still available, and walk-ins are welcome!

🎗️ A few important details:

Ages 35–39 must be scheduling their first mammogram; otherwise, patients must be 40 or older.

Patients must be connected with a doctor.

Insurance, including Medicaid, is accepted.

Assistance is available for those without insurance.

Please share this post with anyone who may benefit from this service. Early detection is important, and this is a convenient opportunity to prioritize your health! 💗
