Our first ever Handel’s Ice Cream spirit night has been rescheduled! Please join us on Wednesday, May 13th from 4-8pm in Southlands for a fun way to end the school year on a sweet note! What does a ticket include?

Your ticket includes dinner, two drink tickets, games/entertainment, and access to our exclusive live auction items. There will also be Wi-Fi available, so you can bid online during the event!

Are teachers attending?

What’s the dress code?

Honestly—whatever you want! But we definitely encourage you to dress up and enjoy a fun, kid-free night out. 🙂

Do we have a fundraising goal?

We’re hoping to raise at least $25,000 to help fund TAs next year, and (fingers crossed!) have some left over for something fun for the school.

Is there still time to buy tickets?

Yes—but don’t wait too long! Tickets are available through May 1st, or until they sell out. We’d love to see as many families there as possible.

What kinds of items will be in the auction?

Our Spring BOGO Scholastic Book Fair will be the week of May 4th-7th! This is the perfect event to stock up on summer reading materials, and to help your student’s teachers stock their classrooms for next year! See you there!

We are excited to invite you to the Taste of Black Forest Hills on Wednesday, May 13th from 5:00–6:00 PM in the cafeteria! We invite families to share a dish that represents their roots, culture, or a favorite family tradition. Each participating family is asked to bring enough to provide 100 small, sample-sized bites for our community to taste and enjoy.

Please use the link in our pinned “Calendar” story and in Hooties Highlights to sign up if your family would like to bring a dish.

***As an allergy-aware school, please provide a physical copy of the ingredients used in your dish to display for reference. BFH will provide tables, sample cups, utensils, and napkins.

Set-up for participating families will begin at 4:15 PM in the cafeteria.
