What a treat to welcome the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute class to Austin today!

The Texas Association of Business (TAB) had the pleasure of hosting nearly 50 regional business leaders for a conversation with TAB staff about the critical role they play in civic engagement, the importance of business voices in public policy, and why leadership extends beyond the walls of our businesses and into the communities we serve.

It was especially meaningful to have this group with us during Texas Chamber of Commerce Week, as we celebrate the incredible work chambers do to develop leaders, strengthen communities, and connect local businesses with opportunities to make a difference.

A special thank you to Gina Sp****la, President & CEO of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce and TCCE Board Member, for her leadership and for bringing this fantastic group to Austin! We're grateful for Gina's service to TCCE and her commitment to developing the next generation of business and community leaders.

We loved spending time with y'all!

It's Day 4 of Texas Chamber of Commerce Week, and today we're sharing a little Chamber Story Time! 📖

Our theme this week is *Hometown Chambers. Statewide Impact.*, and what better way to bring that to life than by sharing some of the incredible ways Texas chambers have helped shape our state?

From the San Antonio River Walk and DFW International Airport to nearly a century of regional advocacy in South Texas, these stories highlight the lasting impact of chamber leadership.

We're also celebrating the work chambers continue to do today, from connecting hundreds of employers and job seekers through the Pasadena Chamber's workforce initiatives to the Coastal Bend chambers joining forces after Hurricane Harvey to raise funds and help small businesses rebuild.

Whether it's championing major infrastructure projects, advocating for policies that strengthen our economy, developing tomorrow's workforce, or helping communities recover from disaster, chambers have a long history of bringing people together to make big things happen.

And these are just a few examples! We know there are countless chamber success stories across Texas, and we'd love to hear yours.

Take a look at today's Chamber Story Time features, share your favorites, and tell us: What's something your local chamber has helped make possible?

Well said! Chambers truly are unique in their ability to convene, bring communities together, and break down silos!

Strong Communities Start With Strong Connections!

The Greater EMC Chamber is proud to celebrate Texas Chamber Week with TCCE - Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives and our fellow Chambers across this great state!

Today's message reminds us that no business or community moves forward alone.

Here in Greater EMC, we bring business owners, community leaders, elected officials, and organizations together to share ideas, build relationships, and address the opportunities and challenges facing our growing region.

Whether we're connecting businesses, facilitating important community conversations, or building partnerships around shared priorities, our Chamber helps turn connections into meaningful action.

On National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, we especially want to thank our members, volunteers, and community partners who make this work possible.

Because the real strength of our Chamber isn't just what we do. It's what we accomplish together!

*Happy National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day!*

Today, we're celebrating the chamber professionals, members, and community partners who work together every day to strengthen hometowns across Texas!

As Ronnie Larralde, Executive Director of the Edinburg Chamber, TCCE Board Member, and this year's Texas Chamber Week Chair, reminds us, chambers are more than advocates for local businesses. They're connectors of people and ideas, bringing businesses, community leaders, and organizations together to create opportunities and move their communities forward.

To our chamber colleagues across Texas, today is YOUR day! Thank you for the leadership, collaboration, and dedication you bring to your communities throughout the year.

And to the businesses, community leaders, and partners who support their local chambers, thank you for investing in the organizations that help our hometowns thrive!

Join us in celebrating! Tag your local chamber in the comments, share a story about the difference they've made in your community, or simply take a moment to thank the chamber professionals who make it happen.
