Save the date for Rosedale Homecoming!

Get ready to have some fun on November 7th from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.
We will have live music by DJ Chris Cody, a bubble artist, food and more! Come visit with friends, old and new!

We would love for as many members of Raccoon Nation to attend, so please pass the word along to alumni, their familes, and members of our school community. All are welcome!

Tomorrow! Rain or Shine! We have an incredible day of accessible fun for the entire family! Don't miss our very special student pottery sale! We have live music by Sound Collective from 12:30-1:30, Art Workshops by Imagine Art from 12-2, A theater workshop by Zach Theater from 1:00-2:00, live art creations by Gav Art , a resource fair, and of course our accessible playground and free food! We are back this year and are bigger and better than ever! The Playground of Possibilities is a free, inclusive events bringing together resources, music, food and activities in an accessible environment. Hosted by the Rosedale School and supported by the Rosedale Foundation this inclusive event welcomes everyone to our accessible playground, our beautiful campus and provides a place for families to gather and learn about community resources (Integral Care: IDD services
ARCIL,STAR Kids and STAR PLUS Program) while enjoying live music, free food and community. We are so excited to offer several activities on this day including Live music by Austin Sound Collective, Art activities by Imagine Art, an inclusive theater workshop by Zach Scott Theater, and live drawings by Gav Art. Big smiles and even bigger fun are headed to Play for All Park! 🎉💙 The Adaptive and Inclusive Family Jamboree is coming up Saturday, September 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a morning created for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Round Rock Parks and Recreation and Casey's Circle are bringing together local adaptive and inclusive organizations, programs and services so families can explore resources available in our community. Plus, there will be crafts, games, music, snacks and plenty of time to play! 🙌🎶

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our dear friend Jason Hawrylo. Jason was a Rosedale team member for many years. His classroom was a rigorous but safe space for the students with visual impairments to spend time learning and expanding their skills navigating the world. If you knew and loved Jason there are many ways to join in celebrating his life tomorrow. There is also a go fund me to support his family. He will be missed dearly by everyone in our community.

Please consider helping members of our Rosedale family. One of our student’s mother and brother were detained after a traffic accident. This family will need support as they navigate this emergency.
