Have you navigated mental health, behavioral, emotional, or other complex systems while advocating for your own child?

What you learned along the way has value — and it could become meaningful work helping other families.

Join ASPIREHOPE NY as a Family Peer Advocate and use your lived experience to support, encourage, and empower parents and caregivers who are navigating similar challenges.

20 hours per week | Starting at $18.32/hour | Various NY counties

Upcoming Peer Trainings — Join Us!

AspireHope NY Inc. and the Southern Tier Transformation Plan are offering two upcoming training opportunities designed to build skills, strengthen wellness, and support safer, more effective peer and community support.

🟢 Partnering for Safety — November 7
A virtual training focused on de-escalation, recognizing triggers, self-awareness, and practical strategies for keeping yourself and the people you support safe at home, in the community, and while providing transportation.

🔵 WRAP® Wellness Recovery Action Plan — November 10 & 11
Join us in Seneca Falls, NY for this two-day interactive training. Learn how to develop your own Wellness Recovery Action Plan, identify tools that support wellness, and build strategies for navigating challenges and strengthening recovery.

WRAP® is open to anyone with lived experience — peers, family members, friends, and allies. Lunch will be provided during the WRAP® training.

Join us as STTP welcomes NAMI for an informative and meaningful discussion on mental health awareness and support.

NAMI will provide an overview of who they are, the services they offer, and the resources available to individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges. The presentation will be followed by In Our Own Voice, an open and honest conversation led by individuals with lived experience, designed to increase understanding and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

We invite community members, families, providers, and advocates to attend and be part of this important discussion. Together, we can help build a more informed, compassionate, and supportive community.

Take the Raising Men & Women Lawn Challenge! 🍃

The 50 Yard Challenge is teaching kids the value of service, hard work, and giving back to their communities. More than 6,000 kids across the country have already signed up to mow lawns for free for elderly neighbors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and active-duty military members.

What a great way to make a difference one yard at a time. ❤️
