🎃 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗖𝗞, 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦!

Halloween should be full of treats, not surprises!

Our Offender Compliance Unit wants to remind parents and guardians to take a few minutes to familiarize themselves with the neighborhoods they'll be visiting this Halloween.

Registered s*x offenders in Baldwin County are not subject to the same Halloween-specific restrictions found in some other states, making awareness and preparation especially important.

On September 22, 2026, information was received by Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, and an investigation was initiated into the online activities of Timothy Eyres of Elberta, AL. The investigation led them to serve several search warrants including a search of Eyres’ personal electronic device which took place on October 15, 2026.
During a forensic exam of the device, numerous items or evidence were discovered, most of which depicted s*xually explicit material involving abuse of children. Warrants were signed for the arrest of Eyres for four counts of Code of Alabama 13A-12-192(b) Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. Eyres is currently incarcerated at the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center, and his bond was set at $100,000 cash.
His conditions of release are no contact with children, the internet, guns, and he will be on GPS monitoring upon his release. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and its Federal partners in law enforcement are committed to continuing their efforts to identify and apprehend individuals who engage in illegal activities online and to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.

On October 18th, 2026, at approximately 0300 hours, Deputies with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office responded to Baldwin Health Hospital regarding a 35 y/o male who drove himself to the hospital and had multiple gunshot wounds. Shortly after contact at the hospital, the subject was life-flighted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Florida for further treatment and evaluation of his wounds. The victim was unable to identify his attacker and was only able to state he was shot in Foley.

Officers with the Foley Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office in canvassing local bars and were able to locate a small scene in the rear parking lot of Good Time Charley’s off Hwy 98 in Foley. Investigators and Crime scene personnel with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office arrived and processed the scene, spoke with staff, and a few remaining patrons. Evidence was partially caught on surveillance video, however, was not clear enough for positive identification of any suspects.

The victim is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with knowledge of what occurred and who may have been involved, to please reach out with that information. We appreciate the assistance of our partners at Foley Police Department with the initial handling of this case.

This is an ongoing investigation.
