Our movie fundraiser benefiting the Lori Haber Buckfire Foundation and Planet Lori Art Camp is coming up on Wednesday, November 4!

Planet Lori Art Camp was established in memory of Lori Haber Buckfire and provides children affected by cancer with a special week of art, creativity, friendship, and fun.

Every child attends completely free of charge! ❤️

Today, on what would have been Lori Haber Buckfire’s 58th birthday, we celebrate her life, her legacy, and the difference she continues to make in the lives of children and families. ❤️

In Lori’s honor, we are excited to announce an upcoming charity movie screening benefiting the Lori Haber Buckfire Foundation and Planet Lori Art Camp!

Planet Lori Art Camp provides a special week of creativity, friendship, and fun for children who have a parent, sibling, or close family member affected by cancer. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, every camper attends free of charge.

Last Friday, we wrapped up another wonderful week of Planet Lori Art at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center with a special exhibition showcasing our campers’ incredible artwork.

Throughout the week, our campers expressed their creativity, imagination, and spirit through art—and the exhibition was a beautiful celebration of everything they created.

Planet Lori Art Camp was created in memory of Lori Haber Buckfire, whose love of children and passion for art continue to inspire this special week each year.

The Lori Haber Buckfire Foundation is incredibly proud of our young artists and grateful to everyone who helps us continue Lori’s legacy through Planet Lori Art Camp.

🎨 That’s a Wrap on Planet Lori Art Camp! ❤️

Today marked the final day of another wonderful week at the Planet Lori Art Camp!

Our campers spent the week creating, laughing, making friends, and expressing themselves through art. Here are some of our favorite moments from an incredible week.

The Planet Lori Art Camp has been running this week at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. There has been a lot of smiles, laughter, and creativity. We’re so happy to share these joyful moments of our campers making memories and having fun together!

The Lori Haber Buckfire Foundation is still accepting applications to the 12th Annual Planet Lori Art Camp at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center.

The camp is designed for children who have or had a parent or close relative with cancer. It will be held on a daily basis from August 10-August 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The foundation is providing full paid scholarships to children (ages 5-15) to attend the camp.

Applications can be downloaded from our website at www.planetlori.com.

The Lori Haber Buckfire Foundation is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications to the Planet Lori Art Camp at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center.

The camp is designed for children who have or had a parent or close relative with cancer. It will be held on a daily basis from August 10-August 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The foundation is providing full paid scholarships to children (ages 5-15) to attend the camp. There is limited space in the camp, so it is recommended that completed applications be submitted as soon as possible. Applications can be downloaded from our website at www.planetlori.com.

Last Friday, we concluded the 11th Annual Planet Lori Art Camp at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center with a beautiful Exhibition of the campers’ artwork.

Each piece reflected the creativity, resilience, and spirit of the children who took part in this special week. The camp was created in memory of Lori Haber Buckfire, whose love of children and passion for art continues to inspire us all.
