This Pride Month, we celebrate the strength, joy, leadership, and belonging of LGBTQ+ people — across the country and here in Idaho. Pride is a reminder that every neighbor deserves to be safe, seen, valued, and supported as their full self.

At United Way of Treasure Valley, we believe stronger communities are built when everyone has the opportunity to belong, thrive, and help shape the future we share.

Wine. Connection. And Care. 🧡

This week Women United gathered at Coiled Wines for their Mix and Mingle event. The invitation included an impactful ask, bring something to give back.

Yesterday, the shelf-stable food they collected at the event arrived at CATCH, ready for neighbors across the Treasure Valley who need it most this summer.

Thank you to Women United and United Way of Treasure Valley for your generosity and support!

Belonging comes first at Mountain Home community schools 05/11/2026

Last week we had the pleasure of touring Community Schools in Mountain Home, where students, families, educators, and partners are showing what’s possible when a community comes together.

It was an incredible day of seeing this work in action — from food pantries and clothing closets to mental health supports, hands-on learning, and spaces where students know they belong.

A big thank you to Idaho Ed News for highlighting the heart of this work, and to Regence BlueShield of Idaho for being our lunch sponsor!

Belonging comes first at Mountain Home community schools A strategy embraced by the district, and several others across the state, helps remove barriers and expand opportunities for students and families.

Thank you to everyone who supported Idaho Gives this year, and to all who gave to United Way of Treasure Valley in support of Community Schools. Together, we’re expanding youth opportunity by aligning partners, strengthening systems of support, and building the connections that help kids and families thrive.

We’re especially grateful to Intermountain Gas for helping us double the generosity of our community this year. Thanks to your support, we met our match goal and are building even more momentum for kids and families across the Treasure Valley. United Is The Way!

Because of you, change starts to take shape in real ways.

A student who has been struggling in the classroom gets the extra support they need - and starts to feel more confident, more capable, more willing to keep trying.

A family that’s been navigating challenges on their own gets connected to mental health support - finding stability, relief, and a path forward.

A young adult begins exploring a trade, discovering skills and opportunities that open the door to a strong future after graduation.

These moments don’t happen by chance. They happen when schools, families, and community partners are connected and working together.

That’s what you make possible when you give today: idahogives.org/organizations/unitedwaytv
