We are so grateful to Loomis, Sayles & Company and their employees, who filled ONE HUNDRED Welcome Baby gift bags with board books, onesies, infant toys, and safety items. Our home visitors will add a parenting book and a beautiful handmade blanket—crafted by our talented volunteer knitters and quilters—and then we'll be ready to deliver them to families with newborns. Thank you and Happy 100th Anniversary Loomis, Sayles & Company ❤️

Here's what's blooming at FNC Allston-Brighton🌷
We just wrapped up three amazing program series: six weeks of our Let's Grow Together playgroup, plus six weeks of The Basics and ten weeks of Mind Matters—both parenting education programs designed to build caregivers’ understanding of how to support their child’s healthy development. Families learned, reflected, and celebrated—and walked away with new tools and great memories. A huge thank you to Harvard Ed Portal for their partnership with Mind Matters, which, like The Basics, bridges the gap between research and the real, everyday work of child caregivers.

Last Friday, FNC's Allston-Brighton location came alive with families from the neighborhood gathering, connecting, and making memories at our Family Fun Fiesta. From educational activities to story time (with puppets!), pizza, and a book to take and read at home, every moment of the evening was built around the belief that all families deserve a place where they feel safe, welcome, and part of something bigger.

During Mother’s Day week, we celebrated caregivers of all ages—from new moms to grandmothers—for the love and support they give every day. 💐
Families enjoyed food, conversation, music, dancing, and flowers, thanks to our FNC Dorchester team and DCF Patch partners.

6 Riders. Miles of heart. One mission.
On May 16, Pearl & Law Hospitality Group—the creative force behind Comfort Kitchen, Ama at The Atlas, and Foxglove Terrace—sent a team out on the 25-mile route in the 36th annual Rodman Ride for Kids to support FNC. Alongside the unstoppable Dave D, who rode over 50 miles, these Riders proved that shared values show up in powerful ways – for children, for caregivers, and for communities.

Mark your calendars for Friday, June 5! 📅
Our annual Nurturing Fathers Conference is approaching, and you won’t want to miss the powerful storytelling and professional insights being shared. Whether you are a provider, a family advocate, or a community member, this session will provide you with the real-world tools needed to support fathers in their journey toward reunification and trust.
We're thrilled to welcome .grands Mathematics as our keynote speaker this year! This powerful storyteller, dynamic educator, and passionate advocate combines data-driven insights with narrative experiences to illuminate the impact of evidence-based parenting education on recidivism.
We hope you'll join us to refresh your professional skills and connect with other father-focused providers in Massachusetts. FNC is delighted to partner with the Greater Boston Fathers and Family Network, funded by The Children's Trust , for this year's conference.

What does it take to be a leader who truly “designs” their own success? 🎨✨
The 2026 Leadership By Design I series brought facilitator Mary R. Schechter back to FNC for another vibrant professional development opportunity. Participants explored the "6 C’s" (Courage, Connection, Compassion, Commitment, Conviction, and Co-creation) as an entry point to better understand themselves and develop their unique leadership strengths. Congratulations to all the growing leaders in the Early Childhood and Family Support community who stepped into their power this month!

Our families have powerful stories to tell, and we are making sure they are heard. 🗣️✨
We were honored to be featured in the March newsletter for the Massachusetts Community Health and Healthy Aging Funds awardees! The spotlight highlights our work in creating a centralized “Story Bank”—a dedicated space to harness the lived experiences of parents and families to drive change and build connection.
When we share our journeys, we build a stronger foundation for the entire community. Read more about our Story Bank initiative here: https://mailchi.mp/hria/the-funds-january-awardee-newsletter-5865789
