Last night, JLMC members got together for a fun summer social at General Knowledge Trivia at Ed’s Tavern in Parrish. While our mission brings us together, it’s the friendships and connections we build along the way that make our League so special.

✨ A special moment for our honorary Junior Leaguer of the year — Lucy! ✨

Lucy joined the Geraldson family right at the start of this League year and has quickly become the sweetest little attendee at all things JLMC. From GMMs and board meetings to fundraising events and beyond, she has been our tiniest (and arguably cutest!) supporter every step of the way. 💕

We already know she’s being inspired by an incredible role model in her mom, Lauren, and we can’t wait to watch Lucy grow into a strong woman leader and dedicated community supporter in the years ahead. ❤️

This League Year, we welcomed five Provisional Members in the Fall and five more in the Spring — and they have already made such an impact on our League. From supporting our community and strengthening our organization to bringing fresh ideas and stepping into leadership roles, these women have truly jumped in with enthusiasm and heart.

At our Annual Dinner, we had the honor of presenting Active pins to many of these outstanding members. While a few were unable to attend the celebration, we are still proudly recognizing all of them and cheering them on as they continue their journey with JLMC. 💫

We are so excited to see all they will accomplish and grateful to have them as part of our sisterhood of service.

Congratulations to our final award recipient, Brooke Codere, our Membership Director this pas year, on receiving the “Spirit of the League” Award at this year’s Annual Dinner! ❤️✨

From stepping into leadership during her very first active year to continuously supporting projects and initiatives across the League, Brooke has truly embodied the spirit of service, leadership, and growth within Junior League of Manatee County. Her passion, fresh ideas, and willingness to jump in wherever needed have made such a meaningful impact on our organization and members alike.

This honor, nominated by her fellow League members, is so incredibly well deserved. Congratulations, Brooke! 🎉

This year’s Sustainer of the Year exemplifies the spirit of lifelong commitment to our League. As the liaison between our active members and sustainers, Sierra Tomlinson has gone above and beyond in fostering meaningful connections and strengthening engagement
across our organization.

Through her regular attendance at Board and General Membership meetings, thoughtful updates and correspondence, and steady guidance, she has been an invaluable resource throughout the year—and for many years before. Her wisdom, experience, and dedication have enriched our League in countless ways, providing insight, encouragement, and support whenever needed.

We are deeply grateful for her exceptional service, unwavering involvement, and the lasting impact she continues to make on our League community. It is with great appreciation that we recognize her as this year’s Sustainer of the Year.
