Evan stopped by to pick up his medal for earning the Principal’s Award. Way to go, Evan! Congrats on earning a 4.0 gpa & 1’s in citizenship all year in 6th grade. He plans to do the same in 7th grade next year! Panthers believe & Panthers achieve!

On the last day for students, we surprised our bus drivers with a small token of our appreciation for getting our students to & from school every day this year. Thanks to all bus drivers for contributing to the success of all students. Have a great summer!

Mr. Baietto's leadership and dedication to BRMS have made a profound impact on our school community. After seven remarkable years, his departure will be deeply felt. We appreciate his hard work, humor, and commitment to supporting stakeholders. Best wishes as he begins his new role as Assistant Principal at Lee Middle School during the 26-27 school year.

Congrats to our 8th grade Golden Panther Award recipients! Each year, the Golden Panther Award goes to students who earn a 4.0 gpa AND all 1’s for all three years of their middle school career. What a remarkable accomplishment! The 8th graders were honored at their Achievers Promotion Ceremony & we grabbed a picture of those present on their last day of middle school. If your student received a Golden Panther Award & is not pictured, please share a pic of him or her with their trophy.

Dear BRMS Panther Families,

We are excited to launch our BRADEN RIVER MIDDLE SCHOOL Panthers Summer Newsela Reading Challenge!

This summer, we are encouraging our rising 7th & 8th grade Panthers to continue growing as readers by participating in our schoolwide reading challenge through Newsela. (Incoming students do not have access to this program yet.)

Students can earn prizes, raffle entries, special recognition, and even VIP experiences by reading articles and completing quizzes throughout the summer (see the pictures of the flyers for information about prizes).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. Students should log in through SDMC SSO just like they do during the school year.
2. Click on Newsela
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Start Reading Challenge and earn points!

We encourage families to support students by helping them set goals, stay consistent, and celebrate their reading accomplishments throughout the summer.
