🐾 One of Our Alumni Needs Your Help!❤️

Many of you may remember Scarface, a sweet Husky mix who was once in our care here at Brenham Animal Services! Now known as Chloe, she was transferred to Grammy Rose Dog Rescue & Sanctuary in Maine, where she was given a second chance at finding her happily ever after.

Since arriving at Grammy Rose, Chloe has been diagnosed with a rare congenital condition affecting both of her hips. Despite everything, she remains a happy, loving girl!

Chloe now needs two major orthopedic surgeries to improve her mobility and give her the best chance at a long, comfortable life. The estimated cost of these procedures is $11,000, and Grammy Rose is working hard to get her the care she deserves.

Although Chloe is no longer in our care, she will always be part of our BAS family, and we want to help spread the word! ❤️

If you're able, please consider donating directly to support Chloe's surgeries and recovery. If donating isn't an option, simply sharing her story can make a difference!

Once a BAS baby, always a BAS baby! 🐾

❤️ Help Chloe get the care she needs: https://gofund.me/b267ff629

*This is a courtesy post on behalf of Grammy Rose Dog Rescue & Sanctuary. All donations and medical care are being handled directly by their organization.*

🐾 A Successful Day for Brenham's Pets! 🐶🐱

Our October 21st Community Pet Clinic was a huge success! Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to help local pets receive important preventative care and take another step toward healthier, happier lives!

Here's a look at what we accomplished:

💉 69 Rabies Vaccinations
🐾 60 Microchips
❤️ 39 Spay/Neuter Signups

That's 168 services and signups helping make a difference for pets and their families! By making essential pet care more accessible, we're helping keep pets healthy, reunite lost animals with their families, and reduce pet overpopulation in our community.

We look forward to continuing to serve Brenham's pets and the people who love them!

Purr-fect adoption update:

Mulan aka Peppa is doing great!
He’s in a house with 3 big dogs who absolutely adore him. He runs the show over here, keeping them all in check. He’s very feisty, to say the least, so he fits in great!

🐾❤️ TODAY IS BRAZOS VALLEY GIVES DAY! ❤️🐾

We're taking adoption on the road, and we need YOUR help! 🚐

Brenham Animal Services is kicking off our biggest fundraising campaign yet, with a goal of raising $250,000 for a new adoption van!

Not everyone looking for a furry best friend makes it through our shelter doors. With an adoption van, we can bring our adoptable animals directly into the community, giving them more opportunities to meet potential families and find their forever homes.

Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality!

❤️ Help us take adoption on the road!

🐾 DONATE ONLINE:

❤️ DONATE IN PERSON:
Stop by the **Washington County Chamber of Commercetoday between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM to make your donation in person!

Even if you can't donate, sharing this post helps us reach more people!

Every gift makes a difference, and every share brings us closer to our goal!
