IEA was proud to participate in the 2026 MHCEA Spring Symposium held May 19–20 in C**n Rapids, MN!
Our hazardous materials manager, Matt Lindberg, presented on both days of the symposium, sharing expertise on asbestos and lead requirements for healthcare facility and long-term care projects.

Great day at the MNAPPA Event on April 23 at the University of Minnesota’s Advanced Operations Center (AOC)! 👏
IEA was proud to attend and participate in a presentation and tour of the new AOC facility — an impressive space supporting advanced operations and technology infrastructure at the University of Minnesota.
Thank you to everyone involved in organizing a great event and to the MNAPPA members who joined us! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and discuss the future of facility operations, technology, and campus infrastructure.

🔥 Boiler Training Success at Rochester Public Schools!
IEA Safety was proud to host a successful Boiler Prep training at the Rochester Public Schools FSC building, where 32 employees completed Boiler Ben’s Boiler Prep class 🎓
This hands-on training helped equip staff with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to prepare for the Minnesota State Boiler Exam—an important step in advancing their careers and maintaining safe, efficient facilities.

IEA is excited to have participated in the Minnesota Chief Engineers Guild tour of the University of Minnesota Main Power Plant today, January 30, 2026. It was a chilly Minnesota day, but it was warm in the energy plant with large scale boiler and facility equipment to see. Terrific information was provided by the experienced UMN staff on the facility history, campus energy support and equipment operation to our MNCEG members.
