Welcome to Brooklyn Park, Tower 2!

It's a big day for BP. The brand new Tower 2 ladder truck officially rolled into the city limits this afternoon!

Before it goes into service our crews will complete thorough training to get familiar with all the bells, whistles, and details that come with learning a new apparatus inside and out. We want to make sure all shifts are ready to operate safely and confidently when the call comes!

Keep an eye on our page for updates, photos, and the official in-service date when we welcome the new Tower 2 home to the bay of Station 2!

A year ago today we broke ground on the new Station 2! We look forward to watching the outdoor work wrap up with the seasons changing so the indoor work can continue as we plan our Spring 2027 move. We can't wait to open these brand new doors to you!

We want to see YOU next Saturday! Check it out! 🔥

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11. We pause to honor the 343 firefighters, 60 law enforcement officers, 8 paramedics/EMTs, and the thousands of civilians who lost their lives that day. Their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We ask you to take a moment today to remember those who were lost, support the families who still grieve, stand with those who continue to battle cancer and other health challenges in their selfless commitment to ensure that everyone was brought home, and thank the first responders who continue to answer the call.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🚒 Congratulations, Captains! 🚒

Please join us in celebrating Captain Page and Captain Roberts on their well-earned promotion from Firefighter to Captain!

Last week, we gathered with their friends and family for a badge pinning ceremony to honor this incredible milestone. Behind every captain's badge is hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and countless calls answered. These two have shown that and more, every single shift.

As they step into this new chapter of leadership, we know they'll continue to serve our community with the same courage, integrity, and heart that got them here.

Congratulations, Captain Page and Captain Roberts. We are so proud and honored to serve alongside you!
Please help us congratulate them!

What is Emergency Management?
Disasters are inevitable, but catastrophes are not.
Emergency management is the profession that:
• Helps communities and organizations prepare, respond, recover, and adapt
• Brings partners together to solve complex problems, reduce harm, and restore stability during emergencies.

Emergency management isn’t just about reacting; it’s also about planning in advance, coordinating under pressure, and developing lasting resilience.
