🍂 Help bring Thanksgiving meals to BHC families!

Burbank Housing Corporation (BHC)’s Season of Giving brings our community together to support low-income families living in our affordable housing program. Here’s how you can help:
🥫 Donate: We’re collecting evaporated milk, canned yams, and condensed milk for holiday meal packages.
🤝 Volunteer: Help sort donations, distribute meal packages, or assist at our holiday events.
❤️ Connect: Join our Thanksgiving Resource Fair on November 18, 2026, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at 2321 N. Catalina St., Burbank.

That’s a wrap on our first ever costume swap! 🎃
Yesterday, BHC families joined us to pick out free Halloween costumes that were generously donated by the community. A big thank you to NCLincBurbank volunteers who helped throughout the event!
We are also grateful to all community members who donated costumes, including our board members, Sam Kuiumdjian, Carolyn English, and Alisa Cunningham.
Your support gave costumes a second life and helped make Halloween a little more affordable for our families. Happy spooky season! 👻

Have Halloween costumes collecting dust in your closet or tucked away in storage? Give them a second life by donating them to BHC's Halloween Costume Swap! Burbank Housing Corporation (BHC) is collecting gently used Halloween costumes for children living in our affordable housing communities.

On June 3, 2026, Burbank Housing Corporation (BHC) celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Burbank Veterans Bungalows, a permanent supportive housing community that has helped formerly homeless veterans rebuild their lives since 2016. The development is home to 11 veterans and partners with New Directions for Veterans to provide ongoing support services.

The celebration began with a ceremonial Honor Guard march by Burbank Troop 209 and welcomed key supporters, including BHC staff and Board members, City officials, community partners, and veterans. BHC also received certificates of recognition from the offices of Assemblymember Nick Schultz, State Senator Caroline Menjivar, and Supervisor Kathryn Barger in recognition of the development's impact over the past decade.

The lasting impact of the Burbank Veterans Bungalows was recently highlighted in a Burbank Leader article featuring resident Jacob, who shared, “Everyone has a story, especially veterans, and my story is that with the help of many people I’m now a proud resident of Burbank.”
