🌱 Growing something good at Oakridge Tank!

As work continues at the Oakridge Tank, we’re excited to partner with Intermountain Trails on a native plant restoration project in the Centerville foothills!
🌿 About 15 species of native shrubs, grasses, and perennials are being planted to help restore the habitat, reduce erosion, and support fire mitigation as the plants become established.
The project will also include an experimental garden featuring water-wise plants to help residents learn what they can grow in their own yards with little to no supplemental water.
A big thank you to Joanna and Intermountain Trails for helping us invest in the future of our mountains.

🚧 TOMORROW Pages Lane closure begins! Plan ahead: leave early to give yourself enough time to travel.

As part of the FrontRunner 2X project, crews will CLOSE Pages Lane in Bountiful near I-15 from October 15 to January 25, 2027.

CLOSURE DATES: October 15 to January 25, 2027
DETOUR: Use 400 North to cross I-15
PLAN AHEAD: Allow extra travel time and use caution near construction zones
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Closure of Pages Lane through the work area
• Increased traffic on 400 North, especially during peak hours
• Some noise, dust, and vibrations
• Work will primarily take place during daytime hours
• No impacts to FrontRunner service

FYI:
🔔 The railroad quiet zone will remain in effect during construction, although train horns may occasionally sound to alert work crews near the tracks.

Fall Festival has been officially moved to next Monday, Oct. 19th. Please let you friends, family, and neighbors know of the date change. Hope to see you all next week on the 19th from 6 to 8 pm at Smith Park (300 N. 100 E.) in Centerville for donuts, pumpkins, crafts, and activates.
