Franklin County Veterans Affairs is please to announce that a counselor from the Martinsburg Vet Center will be increasing on-site availability to our office to every Wednesday, providing veterans with greater access to in-person mental health counseling services.

To inquire about service and begin the screening process, contact the Martinsburg Vet Center at (304) 263-6776

Veterans may also speak directly with a Veteran Service Officer at our office for contact information and assistance getting connected to Vet Center services.

Hospice of Washington County invites all veterans to join them for a special breakfast in honor of their service!

Breakfast is FREE, and veterans are welcome to bring a guest.

Housing Opportunity for Seniors & Veterans

Our office was recently notified about North Ridge, a new construction affordable housing community coming to Gettysburg for adults 62 and older.

North Ridge will offer income based 1- and 2- bedroom apartments, with 4 apartments specifically set aside for veterans.

This may be a helpful housing option for veterans or veterans families who are looking for senior housing or know someone who may benefit from an affordable, newly constructed apartment.

The community will include accessible apartments and a variety of amenities designed with seniors in mind.
