Washington Elementary will again be collecting food donations for our students and community through the month of November. Please bring non-perishable items only (pasta, canned items, anything dry goods) for donations. We will track our donations on a chart in the front hallway of our building! Let's see which grade level will bring in the most!

We celebrated our Student's of the Month for October this morning. Well done and congratulations to our amazing students! We also awarded Mrs. Bailey's class with a traveling trophy for having the best attendance for the month. Keep up the good work!

10/28/2026

Today Washington Elementary celebrated Halloween with a costume parade lead by our fun lobster, Mr. Carney our principal. It was a fun time enjoyed by all.

First grade has been studying the body systems and how to keep our bodies healthy. They got into cooperative groups and had to make kid size diagrams of their bodies with organs and then made healthy fruit & yogurt parfaits for snack.

10/28/2026

Our preschool friends are in the Halloween spirit! Check out these great costumes!

10/27/2026

Parents and families: Please join us for our annual Halloween Parade tomorrow at 2:15. Students will wear costumes during our parade and the parties that follow. Please note that parents are welcome for the parade but only students and teachers will celebrate together in their classrooms.

Also, please keep any toy weapons that are included with costumes at home. We want to maintain a safe environment for all students!

Happy Halloween!!
