The Chicago Stars FC women’s professional soccer team are offering a ticket discount to local Canadians and fans of Canada community for the Sunday, May 31 match vs the San Diego Wave FC. They will be honouring all their international players, notably Canadian national team players Julia Grosso and Jordyn Huitema!

The match is at noon at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium, located on Northwestern University’s campus in Evanston. As part of the day, the Stars are planning many activations including a pre-match flag ceremony featuring the 11 countries represented by current Chicago Stars players and international-themed fan zone activities.

We don’t think that he will be taking the pitch at today’s Rugby Canada match but Consul Cory Olishansky was thrilled to meet the team at their jersey ceremony last night. These amazing athletes are taking on Team U.S.A. in the Pacific Four series. Tonight is the final showdown of the competition. Go Canada!
