π₯π Healthy habits and real-world learning came together in second grade! ππ₯
As part of their final Wit & Wisdom module, our second graders explored healthy eating habits and learned how food helps nourish and strengthen the body.
Students created five-day healthy meal plans, researched the cost of ingredients for their favorite meals, and practiced budgeting skills by thinking through needs, choices, and costs. They then brought their learning to life by designing visual meal plates and writing informational pieces explaining food groups, balanced meals, and how nutrition supports growth and health.
This project also highlighted just how much our young writers have grown throughout the year. Students progressed from identifying main ideas to creating full paragraphs supported by evidence gathered from books, infographics, and research.
We are so proud of these Wildcats for combining creativity, critical thinking, and healthy choices into such a meaningful project! ππΎ

ππ The Class of 2026 has left its mark on Finneytown ππ
As banners line Winton Road and our community celebrates this special season, we are reminded that graduation is about so much more than a ceremony. It is a celebration of the years that shaped these Wildcats - the lessons learned, the friendships built, the challenges overcome, and the memories created along the way.
Behind every graduate is a community that helped them get here. Families, teachers, coaches, directors, classmates, and friends all played a part in supporting these students through the highs, the lows, and every moment in between. Together, they helped shape a class full of leaders, role models, and positive influences.
To the Class of 2026 - thank you for the impact you have made on Finneytown. You are an important part of our story, and while your next chapter is just beginning, Finneytown will always be part of yours. ππΎ
Congratulations, Wildcats. We are so proud of you. πβ¨

π Senior Spotlight: Keona Henry π
We are celebrating Keona Henry, a Class of 2026 Wildcat! During her time at Finneytown, Keona has embraced the diversity and strong sense of community that make the district unique. She shares that learning alongside classmates from many different backgrounds and cultures has broadened her perspective and taught her the value of community, connection, and being stronger together.
After graduation, Keona plans to attend the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash, where she will major in Medical Science and Technology with plans to pursue a career in Radiology.
Her advice for future Wildcats - stay on track. Keona encourages students to enjoy their high school experience while taking their education seriously, remembering that the choices they make today can shape their future.
One of Keonaβs favorite Finneytown memories is the Fall Parade. From the floats and candy to seeing students, staff, and families celebrating together, followed by the bonfire and football game, she says it is an unmatched tradition and a highlight of the school year.
We wish Keona all the best in what comes next and canβt wait to see all she accomplishes! ππΎ

π Senior Spotlight: Markeya Walker π
We are celebrating Markeya Walker, a Class of 2026 Wildcat! Throughout her time at Finneytown, Markeya has grown in confidence, time management, and self-advocacy. She shares that her journey began in elementary school, where teachers encouraged her to channel her energy into focused, meaningful work, and those lessons continued to shape her through high school.
After graduation, Markeya plans to attend the University of Cincinnati, where she will study psychology with the goal of becoming a school counselor.
Her advice for future Wildcats - take high school one day at a time. While it can feel stressful at times, she encourages students to stay grounded, remember that each day passes, and keep pushing forward through challenges.
One of Markeyaβs favorite Finneytown memories is creating βfake YouTube videosβ featuring friends, classes, activities, and teachers. Looking back on those moments has made her appreciate how much has changed and how much she has grown over the past four years.
We wish Markeya all the best in what comes next and canβt wait to see all she accomplishes! ππΎ
