Today and everyday, Thank You!

09/11/2026

In Remembrance of September 11, 2001

Today, we formally honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the countless families forever changed. We recognize the extraordinary courage of the first responders who acted without hesitation, confronting danger with unwavering duty. Though violent extremist organizations caused profound harm and loss of life, our nation’s resolve endured.

May this anniversary strengthen our commitment to unity, service, and the enduring promise to never forget.

Apparently everything is “kinda chic” now… so we figured the fire department deserved one. 😂

But behind the jokes are some pretty incredible people.

The volunteers who leave dinner when the pager goes off.
The families who wait for them to come home.
The firefighters who train, respond, serve, teach, show up, and give their time to this community.
The neighboring agencies who answer the call alongside them.
And the generations of firefighters who came before.

Because being part of a fire service isn't just about responding to emergencies. It's about community, sacrifice, teamwork, tradition, and showing up for your neighbors.

So, in the spirit of the weird trends on the internet…

KINDA CHIC — Fire Department Edition. 🚒

Different calls. Different people. Different patches.
Same community. Same commitment.

And honestly?

That's pretty chic. ❤️🚒
