IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, COUNCILWOMAN HUDSON IS HELPING TO LEAD THE FIGHT on illegal dumping and presses the Bibb Administration to better enforce the City's laws already in place.

As reported by Signal Cleveland,
"Hudson, the Ward 11 council member, has been vocal about calling for increased enforcement of illegal dumping. She points to a troubling pattern of contractors and businesses taking advantage of vacant properties — often owned by out-of-state landlords — to dump construction debris, brush and tires."

Frank (Franz) Cudell (May 11, 1844 - October 25, 1916) 🌳🌲💚

THANK YOU, FRANK CUDELL, for your gift of land to create Cudell Commons Park for the people of Cleveland . . . to be enjoyed by the people of Cleveland . . . and, unintentionally, to have brought together, decades later, the people of Cleveland to fiercely fight to keep the park and his wishes intact.

May Frank & Emma Cudell's spirit & generosity live on through each rising tree, every blade of grass, and all peaceful and joyful gatherings on its grounds and activities taking place at Cudell Rec Center and Cudell Fine Arts.

Much gratitude to all those many neighborhood residents who fought in 1954, and then again in 2023-2024 (Friends of Cudell Commons Park) to ensure the Cudell Family vision was upheld through the test of time and outside interests.

And a SPECIAL MENTION of Councilwoman Hudson (Nikki) who has been fighting for our community long before taking a seat on City Council, AS WELL AS, Gail Lundberg, a descendant of Frank & Emma Cudell who traveled to Cleveland several times beginning in the fall season of 2023 to lend her voice to the fight that ultimately helped save Cudell Commons Park and Frank's desire for his gift to be kept in the hands of the people of Cleveland and the wonderful Cudell neighborhood.
