Providence House is a Family Preservation Crisis Nursery that has kept more than 20,0000 kids safe and families together by embracing them with support to enhance stability that strengthens communities since 1981. Families turn to us during active crisis, seeking safe emergency shelter for their children and support for their family without fear of losing custody. We help families prevent foster care placements by providing loving care to children aged newborn to twelve years old in our Crisis Nurseries. While their children stay with us, our Licensed Social Workers focus on family stability and unification through support services for parents to address the crises they’re facing and create a stronger foundation for the future. We’re proud to share that 99% of Providence House families welcome their children back home and stay together! We have locations in Ohio City at 2050 West 32nd Street, Cleveland and in Buckeye-Shaker at 11801 Buckeye Road, Cleveland.
