Not a lot of costumed folks today and the finalists rocked it! Our 3 winners were #3 Jody Roach, #2 Carolyn Martin as Minnie Pearl, and the winner #1 Ann Broome as Sister Sent by the Pope! Congrats to our winners. The audience determined the winners!

Zumba Gold is Zumba but for seniors. We dance in chairs. Look for a mid-November start up for a 6 week class. Learn the moves; live the music.

Rumikub is going strong! Come in and play. It’s fun and challenging. It’s a great way to experience fellowship and strengthen relationships with fellow senior center members.

We said goodbye to Dr. Wu and her research nursing team from UT. Dr. Wu researched lack of sleep in cardiovascular patients. We assisted with recruitment and we look forward to the research paper. Many good things came out of this research for the seniors. Participants and non-participants learned much from presentations. The partnership we have with UT is something we cherish. Thank you Dr. Wu and associates!
