Chris has genuinely enjoyed knocking on doors across District 1, taking time to listen and learn from the people who call these neighborhoods home.

Every neighborhood has its own story. Residents have shared what they love, what they want to protect, and what needs attention, from streets and drainage to safety, city services and the everyday concerns that affect their families.

One message comes through clearly: people want to be heard. For many residents Chris has met, this is the first time a City Council candidate has come to their door and asked, “What matters to you?”

These conversations are about more than an election. They are the start of relationships Chris hopes to build through continued accessibility, follow-up and service to District 1.

Thank you to everyone who has opened a door, shared a concern, told a story, offered advice or taken a few minutes to talk. Chris looks forward to continuing the conversation.

To my neighbors in District 1, This campaign has always been about our neighborhoods, our streets, and Bryan’s future. That hasn’t changed.

But I’ve heard from too many residents who felt pressured over which candidate they support. Three of them spoke at City Council on October 13, and it took real courage. Their words deserve to be heard.

No one in Bryan should feel uneasy for putting up a sign or sharing their opinion. My supporters and I will not be intimidated, and we’re more motivated than ever.
