It's National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day!

Today we're feeling one thing above all else:

Thankful. 💙

Thankful for members who trust us to amplify their voice.
Thankful for businesses and nonprofits who show up and invest in this community.
Thankful for YOU—every single one of you who reminds us why this work matters.

We say it all the time, but it's true: We couldn't do this without you.

The Talbot County Chamber exists because of our members. You ARE the Chamber. And today, we celebrate you. 🙌
Thank you for being part of something special. Here's to continuing to grow stronger together!

When you invest in Talbot County, you're investing in something real.

Adam Ihsan, Founder of Easton Automations, started his business "to help the local businesses here on the Shore." And he sees the Chamber as "the heart of that community." Being a member "puts us alongside the people who make Talbot County what it is, and that means a lot to me."

This is what it's all about. Local businesses supporting local businesses. Neighbors helping neighbors. A community that shows up for each other. 💙

That's Talbot County. That's home.

When we show up for each other, incredible things happen.

Amy Horne from St. Michaels Community Center says the Chamber has been "an incredible partner," helping to "elevate SMCC's presence in the community" and connecting them with leaders who might not have known about their work otherwise.
What she appreciates most? "As a nonprofit, we're treated with the same enthusiasm and importance as any of their largest members. Their entire team is supportive, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with."

This is community. This is partnership. This is what stronger together really means. 💙

10/17/2026

Great communities don't just happen. They're built by people who show up, step up, and invest in what's next.

That's exactly what our Talbot Young Professionals are doing.

Hali Leeson from Burke and Herbert Bank shared that being involved has given her the chance to "connect with other young professionals who share a passion for our community" and be "part of a group that's helping shape the future."

Leadership. Connection. Impact. That's the TYP experience. 💙

We're so proud to support the next generation of Talbot County leaders.

Chamber membership goes beyond events and networking. It's about having real support when you need it most.

Yixin Qiu from Apollo's Dream Foundation shared that as "a small nonprofit without our own physical facility," access to Chamber conference rooms gives them "peace of mind" for client meetings and interviews.

That's what community looks like. From meeting spaces to business resources to a team that genuinely wants to see you thrive, we're here for you every step of the way.

Your business has a story worth telling. The Chamber helps you tell it.

Just ask our members:

Yixin Qiu from Qlarant says sponsoring events like the Clay Shoot and Economic Symposium "helps promote our company and brand" while giving associates a chance to "participate and bond."

Laura Bell from St. Michaels Sailing Charters loved her ribbon cutting experience, calling it "a way to celebrate the opening of our business" with the Chamber staff and community showing up to support her "despite the heat wave conditions!"

That's the kind of visibility that turns into real connections and real growth.

🤝 THIS IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT 🤝

Membership isn't just a logo on a website or a name in a directory. It's about connection. Community. Showing up for each other.

Just ask Judi & Bud Loscomb. After nearly 40 years with the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce, they've lived it:

"The Chamber supported our business, and we had the opportunity to support the Chamber in return for many years through committees, sponsorships and partnerships. We believe that a Chamber membership is about showing up, getting involved, building relationships, and helping one another succeed. That's what makes a strong business community."

Show up. Get involved. Build relationships. Help one another succeed.

That's what makes Connections That Matter. 💙

Thank you, Judi & Bud, for nearly four decades of partnership, leadership, and heart. You remind us every day why we do what we do.
