05/27/26 13;49 - ATV Fire - Jones and Harborgreene Rd's. 683 arrived, stretched the 1 3/4' line to extinguish the fire and contained run off from entering six-mile creek using booms and pads.
The operator of the ATV was injured and taken to the hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.
Greene Township Streets responded to the scene to evaluate and repair minor roadway damage.

04/08/26 - 16:54 - Assist to Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company at a garage fire. On arrival 701 reported smoke showing. On arrival crews stretched 2 lines and quickly contained and extinguished the fire. There was heat and smoke damage throughout the garage.
685 and 686 responded.
685 assisted with overhaul. 686 returned before arrival.

04/07/26 - 05:30 - Early Tuesday morning Kuhl Hose was dispatched to a structure fire on Wales Rd.
An out building was destroyed.

Kuhl Hose participated in the Greene Township Parks and Recreation “Easter Eggstravaganza.”
Perfect weather allowed us to participate outdoors with:
Ambulance and fire engine tours
Playing the giant operation game
Handing out Fire Safety materials
Handing out Smoke Alarms
And handing out Candy.
Good job to parks and recreation for putting on another great community event.

03/29/26 - 08:52 - Kuhl Hose was dispatched to assist Waterford on East 3rd St. for a chimney fire that extended to the attic/roof. On arrival, crews had fire from the roof and made a quick hit to contain it.
Engine 683 arrived and assisted Stancliff Hose Company, Waterford PA, Mill Village Volunteer Fire Company, and Perry Hiway crews with overhaul and checking for extension in the attic.

03/27/25 - 11:17 - Kuhl Hose was dispatched to a structure fire on Morehouse Rd. Passerby noticed smoke from an outbuilding. They called 911 and attempted to make contact with an owner.
On arrival, Engine 683 reported a working fire. The crew stretched a 2” line and made entry. The fire was in a small room inside of the outbuilding used to store multiple types of items.
Water was supplied from the newly installed municipal hydrant system.
1 Firefighter sustained a hand injury but it was not serious.
Mutual aid agencies provided manpower and EMS coverage at the scene.
The fire remains under investigation.

03/02/2026 - 14:35 - Monday afternoon, Kuhl Hose was dispatched to Wattsburg Rd near Morehouse Rd for a house fire.
Numerous calls reported the fire at an address in the 8400 block of Wattsburg Rd. Engine 683 arrived first and reported a working fire.
Part of the initial engine crew had to remove the occupants who wouldn't leave the structure while other crew members stretched a line.
683 met Collyer's Mansion conditions throughout the house that made progress difficult but were eventually able to make it the fire on the 2nd floor.
The fire was contained and extinguished after several hours of extensive overhaul.
Water supply was set up from a hydrant near RT 8 and Wager Rd and shuttled to the scene by the 4 tankers on scene.
1 victim was transported to the trauma center for smoke inhalation. No firefighter injures were reported.
Kuhl Hose was assisted by Fuller Hose Company #1, Perry Hiway, Belle Valley, Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, Brookside Fire Co. St 24, Millcreek Township Firefighters IAFF Local 5492, Fairfield Hose Company VFD and EmergyCare for the victim transport and fire scene EMS.

Thanks to Dr McLoughlin, ER resident from AHN St Vincent for the class Wednesday night, “Pinned, Buried , and trapped. Field Emergency Medicine when reacue takes time.”
Dr McLoughlin has a Rescue/EMS background and was able to use that for many scenarios, tying both the medical and rescue perspectives together for the best patient outcome.

Thank You to Millcreek Township Firefighters IAFF Local 5492 for the support to the REHAB unit’s supplies.
Kuhl Hose responded to the large industrial fire on W 12th St in late December to support the multiple Fire, EMS Police and support agencies on the scene.
10 cases of water, 4 cases of Gatorade and several boxes of snacks were donated.
