A strong nonprofit starts with a strong board 🩵

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Build a High-Impact Board workshop! It was a great morning of learning, conversation, and connection focused on helping nonprofit leaders build more engaged, effective boards.

We loved seeing Evanston’s nonprofit community come together to share experiences, ask questions, and walk away with practical ideas they can bring back to their own organizations.

A special thank you to Raising Results for sharing their expertise and helping lead such a valuable conversation!

From small businesses and food concepts to arts, cultural programming, nonprofit services, and other community-focused ideas, there are lots of possibilities, and CTA wants to hear from the people who live, work, shop, and travel through Evanston.

Take the short survey and share what you’d like to see in the Davis station space!

Cohort 2 is officially getting to work! 🎨💚

Our Business in Evanston cohort gathered at Open Studio Project for their first session, kicking off the program with an opportunity to learn, connect, and start building relationships with fellow Evanston business owners and entrepreneurs.

And we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop! We had to grab a group photo in front of Open Studio Project’s incredible new mural. 🙌

We’re excited to follow this group over the next several months as they learn from local experts, connect with resources, and continue growing their businesses right here in Evanston.
