We provide community mental health, foster care, and residential treatment in North Dakota. We believe every child is worth it — and every family matters.

We are dedicated to our mission of changing the course of a child's life by stabilizing families. Nexus Family Healing is a national nonprofit mental health organization that restores hope for thousands of children, families, and adults each year through services in community mental health, crisis and stabilization, foster care and adoption, and residential treatment. This season, the youth at Luther Hall enjoyed fun-filled visits to Lil' Bitz Pumpkin Patch and Buffalo River Pumpkin Patch. From fall activities to creating special memories together, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the season!

We're excited to welcome Abbie to the Nexus Family Healing team as our new School-Based Case Manager in Minot!

Originally from central Minnesota, Abbie has called Minot home for the past 11 years. She brings a master's degree in social work and a heart for helping children and families thrive. After spending the last five years as a paraprofessional in local elementary schools, she saw firsthand the growing need for support services in schools and was inspired to take the next step in serving her community.

When she's not working with students and families, Abbie enjoys life with her husband, whom she's known since kindergarten and has now been married to for 15 years! Together they're raising three wonderful kids, Nora, Arlo, and Abbott, and sharing plenty of laughs with their quirky corgi, Duckie.

We wrapped up an incredible week of media interviews by joining 95.9 KRFF This Side Of Country With Trav & Kjiesta in beautiful downtown Fargo! 🎙️

Our Host Homes Program Director, Sommer, had a great conversation with Travis about the growing need for Host Homes for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities, especially in the greater Fargo area.
