💙🤍🩵 Welcoming Our Future Spartans! 💙🤍🩵
It was an exciting two days at Lake Forest High School as we welcomed our 8th-grade students from W.T. Chipman Middle School on Monday and Tuesday!
Our future Spartans had the opportunity to explore our high school, meet our teachers and students, and learn firsthand about the many Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways available at LFHS. These experiences are so important as students begin thinking about their interests, future goals, and the exciting opportunities that await them in high school!
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible CTE teachers and CTE student ambassadors for showcasing our programs, sharing their experiences, and making our visitors feel welcome!
A very special thank-you to Sarah Porter from CBO for her outstanding work organizing, coordinating, and facilitating both days. Events like these require tremendous planning, and we appreciate all she did to make the experience such a success!
We also deeply value our strong partnership with W.T. Chipman Middle School and Principal Reggie Milner. Working together to ensure a smooth and meaningful transition to high school is an important part of preparing our students for success.
And perhaps the best feedback of all? We’ve heard that our 8th graders have been talking about their visits all week! That tells us we made an impression, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them as the Lake Forest High School Class of 2031!
Once a Spartan, Always a Spartan! 💙🤍🩵
