The Help Exists. But Can Veterans Find It?

There are thousands of organizations, programs, and resources dedicated to helping veterans and military families.
Some provide healthcare assistance. Others help with employment, education, housing, financial challenges, rehabilitation, or transitioning into civilian life.

But here’s the problem.
Knowing that help exists and knowing where to find it are two very different things.

That’s why we were encouraged to learn more about the National Resource Directory, a federal website connecting service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers with thousands of vetted services and programs at the national, state, and local levels.
The directory is operated through a partnership among the U.S. Departments of War (Defense), Labor, and Veterans Affairs. Its resources cover areas including employment, education, housing, health, benefits, and community support.

It’s not a solution to every problem, but it’s a useful place to begin.

Check it out for yourselves and see what's out there:

Another year, more sick gear.

As a reminder, these medals stack together to form the country of Iraq. Last years medal was central Iraq, 2027 is Southern Iraq, and 2028 will be Northern Iraq. Don’t miss this years puzzle piece.

If you missed last year, no worries. There will be an opportunity to earn it, more info on that coming soon.

Registration opens on Veterans Day.
