Breaking ground on the Meandering Road Improvements Project reflects a strong partnership between the City of Fort Worth, City of RIVER OAKS, Texas Department of Transportation, and North Central Texas Council of Governments, demonstrating what can be achieved through a shared vision for infrastructure.
This project will enhance connectivity between surrounding neighborhoods, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, and key corridors, while improving roadway and intersection safety for the communities it serves.
Thank you to everyone involved, and to the residents and business owners along this corridor, this investment is for you.

Such a great time at the 3rd Annual Cinco in the District, highlighting the rich Mexican American art, culture, and traditions that help shape Fort Worth.
Thank you to Consul G. Homero Sotomayor from the Consulate General of Mexico in Dallas for attending, and to Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, Cattle Raisers Museum, and Amon Carter Museum of American Art for making this such a meaningful event. From live entertainment and lowriders to amazing vendors and great food, grateful to be part of a city that embraces and uplifts cultural heritage in a meaningful way.

Today we recognized the 35th anniversary of Citizens on Patrol, an initiative that has helped reduce crime, strengthen neighborhoods, and build community across Fort Worth since 1991.
I also had the pleasure of meeting members of the Police and Clergy Coalition, whose unique role in supporting residents and assisting in times of crisis is greatly appreciated.
These partnerships are essential to a safer, stronger Fort Worth. Thankful for all who contribute to keeping our city safe.

Today, I had the opportunity to walk through the new Northwest Patrol Division Facility with the Fort Worth Police Department. This project reflects a strong commitment to operational efficiency, transparency, and enhanced response times for residents in the Stockyards and Eagle Mountain Lake areas.

Such a honor to celebrate 80 years of nursing excellence at TCU.
From its founding in 1946 to becoming Texas’ first nationally accredited nursing program, this college has led with innovation and a commitment to high-quality care. Today, its graduates continue to strengthen healthcare in Fort Worth and beyond.
Grateful for the impact this program has had on our community, and excited for what’s ahead.
