🇺🇸 As we celebrate America 250, we love seeing our neighborhoods filled with the Stars and Stripes. But when a flag becomes unserviceable, it deserves a respectful retirement.

In Honor of the S E M I Q U I N C E N T E N N I A L, we have placed Flag Disposal containers at two locations:

📍 East Lyme Transfer Station
91 Roxbury Road, Niantic

📍 East Lyme Town Hall
108 Pennsylvania Ave, Niantic

🇺🇸 These containers will gather American Flags for dignified retirement ceremonies, keeping them from being improperly disposed of through household garbage and recycling streams. If you have a Flag to retire, drop it by to us!

You can also drop off your old flags at several dedicated collection boxes across Southeastern Connecticut, including local American Legion Posts, VFW halls, and even the SCRRRA office in Gales Ferry.
