Today, we're sharing our deepest gratitude to our CAP OC community.

As we wrap up Community Action Month, we’re reflecting on the power of community during difficult moments. Following the recent evacuations in Garden Grove that impacted our operations, we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from our community, partners, volunteers, and city officials.

Thank you to everyone who checked in, offered assistance, shared resources, and stood beside us as we navigated unexpected challenges. Your compassion and collaboration are a reminder that community action is not just something we celebrate for one month but something we live every day.

We are happy to share that the evacuation order impacting our Monarch facility has been lifted.

Our OC Food Bank team is returning to the facility today, with the remainder of our staff returning tomorrow as we resume normal operations. We kindly ask for your patience as our team works diligently to continue supporting our community during this transition back to the office.

We also want to extend our sincere thanks to the first responders and emergency personnel who responded to this incident and helped ensure a safe return for our team and community.

Together, we remain committed to the safety of our team, our neighbors, and the communities we serve. Thank you for your support as we move through the recovery process and resume normal operations.

If you are in need of support from the OC Food Bank, please contact 2-1-1 for assistance and available resources.

We encourage everyone in affected areas to follow guidance from local emergency officials, stay alert, and prioritize safety.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We will continue to share updates as conditions change.

This month, we were proud to welcome the Pacific Life team for their Month of Service in support of our Orange County community! 💙

Across 4 incredible volunteer days, their team showed up with energy, compassion, and a true commitment to service — making a meaningful impact every step of the way.

To further strengthen their partnership, Pacific Life also generously donated $30,000 to CAP OC, helping sustain our operations and expand our efforts to eliminate poverty across Orange County.

Thank you to the entire Pacific Life team for your generosity, dedication, and belief in our mission. Together, we are creating lasting change for local families.
