Every great story has someone who helps bring the magic to life, and this Christmas, we’re celebrating some very special people that we feel would make Dolly Proud!

We’re thrilled to announce our 2026 Holly Dolly Christmas Parade Grand Marshals, our local librarians!

Check out this behind the scenes video of the magic that happened this morning.

These ladies have spent countless hours doing so much more than sharing books. They’ve inspired young minds, encouraged big dreams, opened doors to new adventures, and made a lasting difference in the lives of generations throughout our community.

Their impact reaches far beyond the library walls, and this Christmas, it’s our turn to celebrate them!

Help us give these very deserving Grand Marshals a big Holly Dolly welcome:

As we hit the ground running this morning…. We are already dreaming of our next big celebration. We thought we would write a little county song to help everyone get in the mood…

“Have a Holly Dolly Parade Christmas” – Verse 1

There's a little extra magic floating through the frosty air,
A little bit of Christmas joy and wonder everywhere.
Some folks have a way of making dreams come true,
And this year we're saving a special place for a chosen few.
So let the bells ring loud and let the good times roll,
There's a storybook kind of Christmas coming to Greenbrier, heart and soul!

Watch for the Parade Grand Marshal announcement later tonight! We are pretty sure Dolly would have loved our Grand Marshal… who do you think it could be?!
