It was great to visit the new Grady-White Boats Radiation Oncology Cancer Center and meet with healthcare professionals dedicated to serving patients and families across Eastern North Carolina.

As a physician, I understand the important role hospitals and healthcare providers play in keeping communities healthy and ensuring patients have access to quality care. I am grateful for the work they do every day to provide quality care and strengthen our communities.

In Congress, I am fighting to ensure our rural hospitals have the resources they need to continue serving those in need. Thank you for the opportunity to visit and for your continued commitment to our coastal communities.

Today we welcomed Senator Tillis to Greenville to tour the completed BUILD project that he helped secure funding for. It was great to drive the entire corridor and show one of our federal representatives firsthand the impact this investment has had on our community.

Any day we get the opportunity to showcase Greenville is a great day, and we are incredibly thankful for the federal funding that helped make these improvements possible for our residents and visitors alike.
