🌎 GHS Model UN Students Take on the World! 🌎
Grinnell High School's Model United Nations team traveled to the Iowa State Capitol for a two-day conference, where students stepped into the roles of international delegates representing countries from around the world.
Throughout the conference, students tackled real-world global issues through committee sessions, debates, negotiations, and collaboration. They worked together to share perspectives, develop solutions, and build consensus on challenges facing our world today.
🏆 A special congratulations goes to GHS student Charlie Karanja, who earned the prestigious "Distinguished Delegate" award!
With more than 300 students participating in the conference, this recognition is an outstanding accomplishment!
We are proud of ALL our Model UN students for representing GHS while demonstrating leadership, critical thinking, diplomacy, and communication skills.
🧡🖤 Congratulations, Charlie, and great job, GHS Model UN!
