Nope, you don't need to clean your glasses; we're all seeing double! Roosevelt took part in Red Ribbon Week with some classic twinning! Love seeing all the student engagement that takes place in each of our buildings. We are so lucky to have amazing teachers and students who love to take part in the activities that bring our school communities closer together!

From the ’50s to the 2000s and everything between, our Hays Middle School students and teachers brought the style and the spirit for Decades Day during Red Ribbon Week! We’re celebrating the past while reminding students to make healthy choices for a brighter future!

Things got a little messy at Early Childhood! Our little learners had a blast digging into pumpkin guts, exploring the slimy seeds, and getting hands-on with all the fall fun.

Halloween is for kids of all ages! WeKan hosted a Halloween party for all current and former members of the Crew. They did all the planning, prepping and baking themselves. Looks like a room full of lifelong friends!

Not all pumpkin patches are created equal! This one in O'Loughlin's Library is full of some real interesting folks, including Pete the Cat, Harry Potter and The Grinch. The students brought their favorite book characters to life at the Character Pumpkin Patch!

As we close out School Bus Safety Week, shout out to our bus drivers in the district who work tirelessly to make sure our students get where they need to be safely! We are grateful for you every day. Let's take a few minutes to review these good tips for school bus safety. The seem common sense, but always a good refresher.

Been a big week for the Hays High Band. They've been busy earning Superior Ratings at not one, but two competitions this past week. We are always proud to have you represent our school and our community.

The perfect pumpkin does exist! The Roosevelt 3rd graders each got to choose their very own pumpkin to take home with them. BOE member, Curt Vajnar, grew them in his garden and graciously brought them in for all of the students. Who knew choosing a pumpkin could be such a tough decision?!

In honor of fire safety month, our tiniest learners at Early Childhood had a visitor from the Hays Fire Department. They were so excited about the fire suit and loved seeing the lights on the helmet and jacket! Definitely some future firefighters in the group.
