💜🤍 Grandparents Day at BOLA – October 23rd! 🤍💜

What a wonderful day celebrating the special grandparents and loved ones of our Barack H. Obama Learning Academy students! We were delighted to welcome our guests for a morning filled with love, laughter, and meaningful memories.

Our grandparents enjoyed a delicious catered breakfast, fun crafts, special photo opportunities, and thoughtful keepsake gifts to take home and remember the day. 📸🌸

These moments remind us how important grandparents are in our children's lives and how much their love, wisdom, and support mean to our school community.

💜❤️ Grandparents Day at JWLA – October 23rd! ❤️💜

What a special day at Jesse C. White Learning Academy! We loved welcoming our grandparents and special loved ones into our school on October 23rd to celebrate the important role they play in our students' lives.

Our guests enjoyed a delicious catered breakfast and had the opportunity to create something special with their grandchildren by working together to make a personalized picture flower—a keepsake to remember their special day! 🌸

From the smiles and hugs to the creativity and memories shared, it was a beautiful reminder that family, love, and support make a lasting difference in a child's journey.

Hazel Crest School District 152.5 celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month all month long, honoring the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of the Hispanic community! ❤️💛💚

We wrapped up our month-long celebration with a spectacular performance by the Sones de México Ensemble, bringing the vibrant sounds, rhythms, and traditions of Mexican folk music to our school community! 🎶💃🏽

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration memorable as we continue to embrace diversity, celebrate our cultures, and learn from one another!

🤠🍂 IMPORTANT FALL FEST UPDATE! 🍂🤠

Hazel Crest School District 152.5 families, please note that Fall Fest on Thursday, October 29th, from 3:00–5:00 PM, is for students in GRADES 3–8 ONLY! Kindergarten–2nd grade students will celebrate Fall Fest during the school day on Friday, October 30th.

📣 REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28TH, AT THE END OF THE DAY!

✅ Registration deadline: Wednesday, October 28th, by the end of the day
🤠 Dress-up theme: Western Attire
⏰ Pickup: Students must be picked up promptly at 5:00 PM
🚌 Transportation: No bus service will be provided after Fall Fest. Parents/guardians must arrange transportation home.
