Most importantly, this fundraiser was about more than a shirt. Because of everyone who ordered, shared, supported, and helped spread the word, we are able to give back to someone right here in our community who is battling breast cancer. We’ll be delivering the proceeds to the recipient within the next few weeks!

A big thank you to John D. for inviting us to spend some time with the HopeCAT High School EMT Program today! 🚑

We were happy to join the other local services to give the students a look at some of the different opportunities and avenues available to them after graduation.

The students got an inside look at one of our ambulances, along with different emergency vehicles, equipment, and the different ways things can be set up and operated. They are an eager group, full of questions and ready to learn, and we were happy to spend some time showing them around and answering their questions.

Along with meeting this group of students, one of our favorite parts of today was getting to do this alongside the services and individuals we work with and beside every day.

Emergency services are a team effort. We may wear different uniforms, drive different emergency vehicles, or even work for different services, but at the end of the day, we are all working toward the same goal: taking care of the people in our communities and making a difference. We thought it was incredibly meaningful that these students were able to see that firsthand and understand just how important teamwork, communication, and working together are in this field.

We’re wishing all of these students the best of luck as they continue through their program, and we can’t wait to welcome them into our station when the time comes in their class and show them around!

Thanks again, John, for having us! We’re excited to see where this group goes and all of the things they accomplish! 🧡🚑

Our McGonigle Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser is benefiting a local healthcare worker who is currently battling breast cancer.

She has asked to remain anonymous, and we will absolutely respect her privacy. What we can share is that she is a fellow healthcare worker at a local hospital; someone who spends her days caring for others and is now facing a battle of her own.

Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will go directly to her. 🩷

Tonight, we had the privilege of providing standby coverage for the Farrell 9/11 Stair Climb.

It was an incredibly moving event, and it was amazing to see such a great turnout from our community. Watching people come together, push one another through every step, and take time to remember the lives lost and the sacrifices made 25 years ago was something we were truly honored to be a part of.

We had off duty McGonigle team members participating in the climb, others who were there serving with their fire departments, and even our standby crew found themselves pulled in by participants and walking the stairs at least once.

For a night centered around remembering, honoring, and never forgetting, we are grateful that we had the opportunity to stand alongside our fellow first responders, friends, and community.

We would also like to thank Mr. Harrison for some of these incredible photos.
