Holden Recreation is excited for the Josh Thibodeau Helping Hearts Foundation’s 4v4 Soccer Tournament happening this Sunday, October 11th!

This is a great opportunity to get out on the field, have some fun, and support an amazing organization that is dedicated to helping hearts and giving back to the community.

Registration for the 13th Annual Josh Classic 4 v 4 Soccer Tournament closes on Wednesday, October 7th- less than one week away.

Our foundation aims to prevent other families from enduring the tragedy of losing a child from undiagnosed heart conditions through youth heart screenings and education.

With the generous support that we have received, we have been able to donate 132 automated external defibrillators (AEDs), 8k to Worcester Public schools for their CPR program, 31k in scholarships to Wachusett Regional High School students, and funded and organized CPR and AED certification to the athletic coaches at Wachusett Regional School District. We have taught hundreds in hands-only CPR, and held 13 heart screenings, with the latest being held in February at Polar Park in Worcester. We have also advocated for the Massachusetts Senate Bill # 2449- for AEDs to be in all public schools.

The Josh Classic is our largest fundraiser, enabling us to continue with this work!💙⚽️🫎

We are looking for site coordinators (20+) for our Mayo Before School and Mayo After school programs which runs from 3:15pm until 5:30pm and general staffing (16+) for all 3 before school programs which runs from 7:15am until 9:00am. Evo Baseball will host a Columbus Day Sports Clinic on Monday, October 12 at the Evo Academy in Shrewsbury.

The clinic is open to ages 7–12 and runs from 8:30 AM–2:30 PM. Just like our summer clinics, players will spend the day playing baseball, competing, learning, and having fun.
