Hey everybody! I’m Emma Hilbers, the new Library Director here at the Hooper Public Library. I’m not the best at talking about myself, but I thought you may want to know a little about me. I am a recent graduate of Chadron State College with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in English. And, I guess before that, I was a graduate of Logan View. And I know you all must be wondering, what does she like to read? Well, I would have to say I read about anything, but I have a love for Literary Fiction, with Sci-fi close behind. Now that the most important question is out of the way, other things I enjoy are my dog, Lilly, about any fiber arts craft, and sitting on a bench enjoying nature. I am excited to get to know everybody. I am trying to figure out some events to hold. If you have any that you loved in the past, please let me know. Also, if you want to talk about the book you just read, I am here to listen. There is nothing I enjoy more than when someone has strong feelings about a character’s choice. Also, if there are any books you’d like to see in the library, just let me know! All I ask is that you have a bit of patience with me. I am new to this, but excited to learn. Hope to see you around!
