When we say Mr. Erwin goes above and beyond, we mean it! 🏆😂

We told him we were taking a jumping picture… but our students had other plans! 🤫

Happy National Principals Month to a principal who is always willing to jump right in for our students! 🩵

We loved welcoming Mayor Nick Derzis to Shades Mountain today! 🌟 Our first graders had the opportunity to learn about the role of a mayor, the responsibilities of local government, and how community leaders make a difference in our everyday lives.

Bringing real-world experiences into the classroom helps our students make meaningful connections between what they learn in school and the world around them. Thank you, Mayor Derzis, for taking the time to inspire our young learners! 💙
