Did You Know? Federal Dollars Help Keep WCHCS Connected
Washington Court House City Schools uses the federal E-Rate Program to help pay for internet service and the network equipment that keeps our schools connected. E-Rate is a federal program that helps schools and libraries across the country cover these costs.
Today’s schools run on reliable technology. It powers classroom lessons, student Chromebooks, online state testing, security and safety systems, phones, building-wide Wi-Fi and secure access to student and staff records. Much of what schools are required to do today simply couldn’t happen without it.
Over the past three funding years, WCHCS has received more than $251,000 in E-Rate funding. That’s outside money paying for essential services, which helps local tax dollars go further.
