Introducing 2026–2027 IIAH Board Member Daniel Suneson. Learn more about his journey below ⬇️

My name is Daniel Suneson, and I serve as a Senior Territory Manager with Texas Mutual Insurance Company. A graduate of Texas A&M University–San Antonio, I have spent more than six years in the insurance industry, building strong relationships and helping agents navigate the ever-evolving insurance landscape. I am passionate about supporting independent agents and contributing to the success of the communities we serve.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, as well as staying active through golf and pickleball.

I chose to serve on the IIAH Board of Directors because of my passion for the insurance industry and my desire to help it continue to grow and thrive. Serving on the board provides an opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, learn from the experiences of fellow professionals, and contribute to strengthening the Houston insurance community. I am excited to give back to an industry that has given me so much while helping foster meaningful connections for the next generation of insurance professionals.

🌽🎉 What a night! The 7th Annual YIPs Charity Co****le Tournament was an absolute success, bringing together great people, friendly competition, and an even greater cause. 🎯👏

Introducing 2026–2027 IIAH Board Member Matt Romano. Learn more about his journey below ⬇️

My name is Matt Romano, and I am a broker with Novella, bringing more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. Over the past eight years, I have worked as both an underwriter and wholesale broker, developing a strong passion for building relationships and serving our industry.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on Houston sports teams, and hunting. I have been involved with the HID Committee for most of my career and have always valued the opportunity to give back through volunteering, attending events, and even dressing up as Santa during the holidays.

Serving on the IIAH Board was an easy decision because I believe in the impact our association has on the insurance community. I am proud to support an organization that brings professionals together, creates opportunities for growth, and helps strengthen our industry for years to come.
