OK, I know this has nothing to do with marbling, or silk, or art. But it does have to do with finding something magical in the water, and with the joy of unexpected friendships. I’ll let you make the comparisons.

Our Silk Bandana Bar was the perfect walk-up diversion for world class photographers and models attending the Sony Kando event at the Suncadia Resort in Washington State (September 2025). We were surrounded by extraordinary talent and the natural beauty of the Cascade Mountains - the perfect diversion for our team, as well. It was so much fun to work in that environment!!

The Mayu Silk Art street team made a quick run up to the Palm Springs area this week for a VIP corporate experience at the lovely LA Quinta Resort. It was HOT outside, but some really cool designs were happening inside! I didn’t take many photos, but I just had to share this last scarf of the day - isn’t it heavenly?!

Haven’t done an art share in a while. I love this one! Did you know that I (Star) actually got my nickname from Native American friends after they used my tipi for their ceremonies following the Old Topanga fire back in ‘93?
