Caring for a loved one 60 or older can be deeply meaningful but it can also be emotionally and physically demanding. Our Caregiver Support Group offers family members and friends a welcoming space to connect with others who truly understand the journey.
These groups provide an opportunity to:
-Share experiences without judgment
-Feel less alone and more supported
-Build coping skills
-Learn about helpful community resources
The meeting is held the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00 – 2:30PM at Fairview Presbyterian Church (4609 N. Capitol Ave.) Registration is preferred. Visit helpcreatehope.org/caregiver-support for more information

Today, we celebrate and honor fathers, father figures, and all those who show up with love, responsibility, and care for their families and communities. Fathers play a vital role in providing strength, guidance, and support and we are grateful for the many ways they help foster hope and stability.
Wishing all fathers and father figures a blessed and meaningful Father’s Day.

As temperatures rise, so does the demand for assistance at our Crisis Office. For families already facing hardship, summer can be challenging higher utility bills, children home from school needing meals, and limited access to transportation all add to daily stress.
Right now, more of our neighbors are seeking support for food, hygiene supplies, and emergency financial assistance. The need doesn’t take a vacation, and neither does our support.
If you can help, your support makes a real difference for families facing tough times. Learn more at helpcreatehope.org

For many older adults, getting to and from medical appointments can be a challenge. Through our Outpatient Transportation Program, caring volunteers help bridge that gap, providing reliable rides and meaningful companionship along the way.
Whether it’s transportation to an important procedure or a stop at the pharmacy, our volunteers ensure seniors arrive with comfort, dignity, and peace of mind.
Through these simple but powerful acts of kindness, we are making a lasting difference in the health, independence, and well being of seniors throughout our community. This program is made possible by generous donors and volunteers, If you’d like to be part of it, visit helpcreatehope.org/outpatient-transportation to learn more.

• Preventive and sick care visits
• Chronic disease management

• Referrals for specialized care

June is PTSD Awareness Month. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affects many individuals who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. These experiences can leave lasting emotional and psychological impacts that are often invisible to others.
At Catholic Charities Indianapolis, we recognize the courage it takes to seek help and the importance of compassion, understanding, and support. No one should have to navigate trauma alone. This month, we invite you to learn more, reduce stigma, and stand in solidarity with those living with PTSD.

As we reflect on the school year, we want to say thank you to our incredible School Social Work team.
Through listening, advocating, and supporting students and their families out school social workers made a lasting impact in Catholic school classrooms and communities across Indianapolis. Their compassion helped students navigate challenges, build resilience, and feel seen and supported, often at moments when it mattered most.
We are deeply grateful for the heart, dedication, and hope they bring to this work every day.
This important work is possible through the generosity of our community. If you’d like to support students and their families, your donation will help provide care where it’s needed most.

At Holy Family Shelter, we believe no child should miss out on adventure, friendship, and the joy of a carefree summer. For the children we serve, many of whom have experienced frequent instability, summer camp can be life changing and uplifting.
Summer camp offers more than fun; it provides stability, builds confidence, offers nutritious meals, promotes creative expression, and supports academic learning to help prevent the “summer slide.” It’s a chance for children to feel safe, included, and free to simply enjoy being kids.
You can help make this possible. Click the link to give today: https://bit.ly/HFSsummercamp
Your support helps create lasting memories and meaningful moments for children.
