From tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies… 🐛➡️🦋
Over the past few weeks, our students have had a front-row seat to one of nature’s most incredible transformations. They observed, wondered, learned, and cared for their caterpillar friends as they grew, formed chrysalides, and emerged as butterflies.
Today was the moment they had been waiting for—the butterfly release! Watching them spread their wings and fly away was a beautiful reminder that growth takes time, patience, and care.
Just like our butterflies, every child at Thrive is on a journey of discovery, transformation, and becoming exactly who they are meant to be.

Whew….what can be accomplished in a week? At Thrive, it’s 3 classroom makeovers!! Early mornings, late nights, but it was worth it. An extra special thank you to . You showed up every day, no complaints, lifting, hauling and pulling furniture; on your hands and knees scrubbing floors…I could NOT have pulled this off without YOU!! We can’t wait to witness our lil scholars excitement tomorrow!

Preschoolers explored the fascinating world of bees by learning to identify their body parts. Through hands-on activities and visual aids, children discovered that bees have three main body sections: the head, thorax, and abdomen. They pointed out features like the bee’s antennae, wings, legs, and stinger, building both vocabulary and observation skills.
This activity encouraged curiosity about nature while supporting early science learning, language development, and fine motor skills. It also sparked conversations about the important role bees play in helping flowers grow, fostering a sense of appreciation for the natural world.
